ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an experienced Business Economist who will lead efforts to establish and retain business growth opportunities by primarily obtaining new clients and fostering business relationships to increase revenue from sales. The key responsibilities include business profitability analysis and planning, product cost benefit analysis, market & industry data collection & analysis and assist executive body in making business decisions. The successful candidate is expected to work with senior management in creating sales strategies based on market research and data. The responsibilities further include retaining current customers as well as developing and attracting new customers while staying abreast of new technologies, recommending/sharing changes and trends seen in the field, and meeting sales goals in targeted markets.
Responsibilities
- Own the customer relationship, providing ongoing and proactive support to customers, to drive high levels of customer satisfaction, deep engagement, and mutual success.
- Create and deliver industry-leading IT based solutions.
- Identify and assess renewal risks within the customer base and build and execute on get-well plans. Arrange renewal of all contracts well in advance of their expiry date.
- Position against competitive offerings and respond to customer RFPs and RFIs. Negotiating pricing schedules for quotes, and negotiations.
- Understand customer objectives and organize PoCs and Pilot deployments accordingly.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
- Provide estimates for the project and manage time, cost, and resources.
- Manage external vendors and onsite technical teams to provide technical guidance, solve challenges and ensure quality deliverables and outcomes.
Qualifications & Educational Requirements
- Master’s in economics or related field, having minimum CGPA of 3 from reputed inland / foreign institutes

- Service management minded with a strong commitment to customer service.
- Preference for the understanding of electronics/aerospace services product lines.

- Self-starter: someone who can take project direction and get started with little oversight
- Good at the numerical ability and analytical skills

- Ability to Interpret graphs, charts and tables
- Interest in Current Affairs, finances and monetary policies
- Good communication and interpretation skills
- Familiar with data analytics using Artificial Intelligence
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience of minimum 5 years related to a sales position, preferably in technology /R&D company of high repute (local / multi-national), Ideally combined background of post-sales and pre-sales experience.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
- The hired manager will be on 2‐3 months’ probation period. The final appointment will be confirmed after Completion of the probation period.
